Meet Paul
A former U.S. Army combat photographer and full-time redhead, Paul Slavonik fell in love with video production while in high school and never looked back.
Aside from filmmaking, Paul is also an avid writer. Author of the Legacy Drive series as well as the award-winning fan-fiction novel Star Wars: The Great Awakening, it’s safe to say that Paul’s mind is always on the move.
As a motorsport enthusiast, Paul is a race car driver and has previously raced with the World Racing League. He holds a motorsport competition license with the Sports Car Club of America. He’s also an avid sim racer.
During the holidays, Paul will make you the best pecan pie you’ve ever had, all while chasing (or being chased by) his three cats.
After meeting the love of his life on Match.com, Paul and his wife Christina married back in 2011 and have continued dating ever since.
Paul has a B.S. in Audio Production from Full Sail University and is also a graduate of Baker University’s Audio Recording Engineering program.
Where we started.
Foundry Wedding Films was formed from under DMG United, LLC which was founded in 2016. Originally a publishing company, DMG United soon began operating as a media production company which included filming various types of content for industries such as corporate, motorsport and weddings.
Where we are.
Let’s just say that it’s tough to market a company called DMG United for wedding films. Despite a 5-star rating on Google, it was time to branch out. Thus, in November 2020, Foundry Wedding Films was formed. Solely a wedding videography company, Foundry exists to provide our clients with high quality memories that will last a lifetime.
Where we’re going.
This journey isn’t about us. We at Foundry wouldn’t have a company if it wasn’t for the numerous brides and families who’ve entrusted us with the memories of their wedding day. We take what we do seriously but it’s a passion for what we do that drives us. Our future is with and for our clients, and we’re proud to serve in any way we can.
